Wendy Waithe Simmons, PhD

MN WFS Project Director, State Services

At BUILD I…

work on the state services team providing technical assistance and project management to Minnesota’s whole-family system efforts.

I do this work because…

I believe that all children deserve to have the opportunity to have multiple pathways to success. I have a specific interest in developing and implementing programs for children from various backgrounds who have been experiencing social, behavioral, and/or academic challenges, particularly for children birth through five years of age. To that end, it is important to provide support in the various contexts in which children thrive, including but not limited to family, care and education, health, and neighborhood settings.
