LEARNING COMMUNITY

The Build Initiative’s Learning Community is the nation’s leading forum to advance early childhood systems-building at the state level.   We are committed to increasing the understanding of effective strategies for building a comprehensive early childhood system.  To accomplish this goal we help our state partners connect with national experts and others to exchange information, share ideas and discuss lessons learned.

Learning opportunities take a variety of forms and use multiple communication tools, including:

• Internet technology
• Conference calls
• Multi-state discussions
• Topical meetings
• Written materials

Learning Community participants include public and private sector leaders who are working to advance early childhood systems-building in their states.  They engage in BUILD Learning Community activities that best fit their needs and interests.
