Third Sector New England serves as the fiscal sponsor for the BUILD Initiative. TSNE provides information and services to build the knowledge, power and effectiveness of non-profit organizations that engage people in community and public life. The ultimate intention of TSNE's work is to create a more just and democratic society. TSNE views The BUILD Initiative as both a way to support system change on behalf of young children in particular states of interest and as a vehicle for learning together with other foundations about how to best use private dollars to leverage public expenditures and policy changes at the state level.
